Sketching week one
First lesson of animation and we did some sketching! We hadn't sketched in class since first year and I enjoyed and benefited from the lesson. The sketches I completed weren't too bad, I know I can do better. I was however impressed with my memory skills and how much detail I could remember from the photographs we had seen. Particularly pleased with the Pepsi can!Mind Map
A mind map of animation ideas relating to the theme of movement. Some of the key ideas that stood out to me where mime, in which the movement of the mime character would speak solely for itself and no audio would be used.The other idea was juggling, some fairly simply movement with some close ups of hands and their movement,
Animation
Found an animation sequence of thumper, copied the drawings and put it back together. Movement isn't quite right but happy with the drawings!

New Project
New animation project launched last week, 15 second animation based on movement. Looking in to rotoscoping because I love the style. Also having a look at Pixar, Disney and Aardman at different animation styles to see which really inspires me!
